I have posted one of my favorite writing prompts for Valentine’s Day,
“Love is…” out of this unit for a freebie in my TPT store.
I love, love, love using this writing prompt!
We talk about how love is many things besides just the “mushy” love.
We brainstorm ways that we show love to other people {including classmates}
and how others show love back to us.  
The first year I did this I was a little worried about what I would get,
but I was simply amazed and in aww of the things that I would read such as, 
“Love is when my dad does the dishes for my mom.”
