Valentine’s Day Resources

·

I love Valentine’s Day, even with all of the craziness that comes along with it.  I think it is because my mom always gave my sister and I the sweetest little gifts every year.  And still does!  Remember to embrace the craziness because the little sweethearts you teach each week truly are excited to celebrate the day/week with you!  Here are some great Valentine’s Day resources to use this week.  I know I will be!

I’ll be using these free printable cards for my students.  Each card is printer friendly and I gave tips to print more than one on a sheet in the download!  Couldn’t find the dessert erasers at Target? No problem!  Attach any type of eraser or sweet treat!

We will be creating these quick and easy Emoji Style Valentine’s Day Bags! I planned to make them on Friday, but I slacked on taking the time to prep them.  By prep, I mean simply printing on print colored paper!  We will be making them tomorrow, for sure!I love how CreatingTeaching and TheTrendyTeachers bags turned out!

The Emoji Crafts can also be used on boxes!  My little cousin’s made these boxes with their Grandma and are so excited to show them off!

We are in need of a lot of practice with adding and subtracting three digit numbers with/without regrouping.  To continue with this extremely hard skill, I will have students use We Heart Math Valentine Themed Centers and craftivity!  They will THINK these centers are JUST for Valentine’s Day/week, but they truly are hitting the skill we need to master!  This set of centers is differentiated (each center is) and will make the week a breeze for me.

We will also make these super easy washi tape picture magnets for our parents.  You can read all about that here.

Here are some other Valentine’s Day Resources I will be implementing throughout the week!  You can never plan too much:)

Enjoy your day with your ‘lil Sweethearts!
