Five for Friday~ September 13
Our 1st & 3rd story out of Journey’s is a section from two Henry & Mudge’s.
Since we didn’t get to do the “full” materials of these stories,
I decided to combine them together this week to get a little more in depth
with sequencing of events and author’s purpose.
Especially after I saw Amy post her little unit!
It worked perfect for open house!
I never used my ‘lil scrapbook owls this year!
I attempted a cute little tree in my reading center…
and then I tore that thing down!
Tree-makin’ is NOT in my skill range!
The bottom of the ribbons were driving me crazy,
even after hot gluing them down!
So today during plan time I decided to add the owls!
Awful lighting!
I finally filled up the white space in my reading area.
Since that damn tree makin’ didn’t work out!
A clothes line for an EASY way to hang student work.
Genre signs from the lovely, yet kinda spunky Rachel!
Team buckets are a hit this year!
I may have a system that I KEEP!
I have kiddos keep their take home folders and interactive journals in them!
So easy for me to find a certain child’s very quickly.
I also just call one person from each group/team to get their items.
The specials calendar helps us keep track of what day we have what!
I wish I had made them a tad bit smaller, but oh well!
Months and days are from Hope!
And for #5…..
NEBRASKA HAS FALL WEATHER TODAY!
WOOHOOOOOOOOOO!
You Mudges turned out so cute!

Love the idea of your word ribbons on cabinet doors. I might need to do that!
