Spookley the Square Pumpkin + Writing FREEBIE
After their pumpkins were decorated, kiddos picked adjective labels to glue on to their pumpkin.
This idea plus the Spookley anchor chart,
came from the lovely Randi @ Teaching with Class.
Sadly, she can no longer sell the unit.
You can kind of see our little Spookley with our adjectives glued on!
I forgot to take a picture of just him!
During plan time today, I put together this:
Let’s just say, any future kid of mine better be able to put things together like this on their own!
Why the heck do I need this do you ask?
Well, a Spooky Story Writing Center!
I can not wait to have my kiddos brainstorm adjectives to describe this scene.
They will then write a Spooky Story using some “scary” writing prompts!
Want to have your kiddos write a Spooky Story?
Click on the picture below to get a freebie!
It includes a scary Haunted House scene
(in case you don’t want to hot glue your finger!)
And 8 different writing prompts!
I LOVE the haunted house writing idea!! Too cute!!
