Winter Pals- Addition & Subtraction
Before Thanksgiving break, we needed a good review
of addition with regrouping.
We started off our review with a little whole group practice!
Each student was given a “marshmallow.”
Just pretend they look like marshmallows.
Last minute idea = quick cutting!
Students solved the problem and then added it to the correct hot cocoa.
After a little practice, students then created their own!
This week are working on reviewing with our centers.
And I am really hoping we have time for
a lil’ story problem practice with this cute craft!
You can check out all of these items by clicking the picture below!
And don’t forget to head on over and shop TPT during the sale!
All of these crafts look adorable & inspire me to step up my game these next couple weeks! I really appreciate the easy "marshmallows" – thanks for the tips! Jen 🙂
I love the "regroup"/ "don't regroup" bulletin board and center activity. They are a darling and engaging way to practice this sometimes difficult concept. Thanks for sharing your creative genius.

Can't wait until we start regrouping so I can use these goodies! You are talented, my friend!
