Wish List Wednesday~7/9

Did you happen to buy this “old” product from me?
If so, it got a much needed facelift.
Make sure you go re-download it from your “My Purchase” page!
{The picture is BEFORE the update,
but an example of how the journal is setup.}
I use to hate.hate.hate the battle of attempting to get my student’s to write in an organized manner in regular notebooks
during respond to reading time.
It didn’t matter how many times I explained and modeled how to write in order, I would always find that half of my kid’s simply opened the notebook and started to write where ever it opened to.
I just couldn’t do it anymore!
These journals have made all the difference in my reading block.
I collect 3-5 a day to write quick question or comment in.

Sometimes I do “checks” after our reading block to make sure students completed what is asked of them.  During this time, I may point out something quick that I notice and do a very quick mini-lesson one on one.
Once the month is over, this journal goes straight into a students portfolio.
At conferences or during grading time, I will pull out past journals to look at the growth.  My student’s always love looking back in old journals, also!

If you are looking for a more organized way to have students
respond to a text, this is for you!
Enter t win it or grab it on sale for 30% off until Friday.

The giveaway will end in 24 hours!  Keeping it quick this week!
