  1. Probably what I got today (it's my birthday). My husband and one of my sons decorated my classroom with streamers and balloons. They also brought cupcakes for all my students to enjoy!

  2. This birthday was by far my favorite one yet (in all my 28 years). My super sweet boyfriend made cupcakes all on his own and he's never baked before. The cutest thing is he locked himself out of the house and had to go buy all the stuff and bake them at a friend's house. His dozen cupcakes cost him $50 in supplies!

  3. My "40 Things" that my little ones picked out for me–8 fiji waters, 6 diet cokes, 6 tulips, 4 magazines, 1 starbucks cup, 3 butterfingers, 2 pairs of socks, 4 zone bars, 1 smoothie, 1 deck of cards, 1 pack of gum, a new book, a gift card to the movies, and a homemade cake!

  4. Flowers for my birthday! My hubby and I were just recently engaged and he was visiting from out of town. He got up early and had to get directions to a florist from my parents! 🙂

  5. Love this giveaway!

My favorite birthday "gift" was the surprise girl's night my mom threw for me on my 16th birthday party. I thought I was going to my my grandma's for dinner until we stopped at each of my friends' houses one by one!! It was so fun and so perfectly planned! Love my mama!

  6. The diamond necklace I got after high school graduation. And the books my brother finds for my classroom all the time. It always puts a smile on my face when he gives them to me!

  7. My favorite birthday gift was a surprise party my Mom threw for me while I was going through a dificult time with health issues. She managed to find and contact friends who got together to give me love and support. It was the best medicine.

  8. Not a huge fan of birthdays…reading the comments makes me realize why…I haven't gotten anything amazing like this! But I pick out really great gifts for myself! 🙂

  9. My favorite birthday gift was when all of my family was together in one place to celebrate — children, husband, parents, sisters, aunts and uncles, and cousins. That was a rare gift!

  10. Oh gosh, I've gotten a lot of good ones, but I really liked when my boyfriend took me to a drive thru animal zoo and we got to feed the animals right from our car!
